The Summer Choir Concerts will present a unique concert with French songs and piano music from the Romanesque period on June 24, 2023.
The special atmosphere of the summer choir will transport you into a world of classical music for one night.
The concert will feature the highly versatile singer Barbara Marie-Louise Pavelka and the experienced pianist Paula García del Valle . Together they will express the beauty and delicacy of the French language and music.
The program includes well-known works such as "Après un rêve" by Gabriel Fauré and "D'amour l'ardente flamme" by Berlioz , "Repentir" and "Ave Maria" by Camille Saint-Saëns and "Mon cœur s'ouvre à ta voix" from Samson et Dalila by Georges Bizet.
In the second part of the concert, the focus will be on piano music from the Romanesque period. Pianist Paula García del Valle will play the breathtaking sounds of "Gaspard de la nuit…
